Imagine embarking on a quest to find the perfect activity for your child, whether it’s to broaden their social horizons or simply to keep them engaged while you tackle your to-do list. It’s a journey every parent embarks on at some point, but there’s always that lingering doubt: What if my child doesn’t like it or changes their mind? After all, kids are known for their fleeting interests and short attention spans. So, how can you be sure you’re making the right choice?
The truth is, you can’t always be certain. Sometimes, you just have to take a leap of faith. Fortunately, most extracurricular activities offer some form of trial period, ranging from a single free session to a more extended three-week paid trial. This certainly helps ease the uncertainty.
But even after a trial period, how can you gauge your child’s true enjoyment? You ask them the inevitable question, “So, how was it?” and receive the underwhelming response, “Okay.”
Here at Theatretrain, we understand these parental concerns all too well, and we want to put your mind at ease.
We offer a single paid trial session, providing your child with the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in our program. During this trial, they’ll interact with students who are already part of the Theatretrain family. If they decide to join, they’ll seamlessly become part of that group.
There are no quick-fix solutions when it comes to building your child’s confidence and helping them forge new friendships. It takes time, and some kids may need a few sessions to truly settle in before making a commitment. And that’s perfectly okay.
We understand that signing up comes with apprehensions. You’re about to invest a significant amount of money, and what if everything changes?
First and foremost, the most important thing to us is that your child genuinely enjoys their time with us. If they have a change of heart during their first term with us, we’re here to ease your worries. We waive the usual four-week notice period and can refund any unused sessions. After the first term, all we ask is that you provide four weeks’ notice if you wish to cancel.
So, rest assured, we’re committed to ensuring your child’s happiness and development, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
