Fred Valvona, a student in our 13-18 group at Theatretrain, is off on tour with Journey's End.
We are so so proud of Fred, who will be making his professional debut with the cast of Journey’s End this November.
When we got the audition brief through, we knew that Fred would be perfect for this role. Following a successful audition, Fred was cast in the role of Private Bert/Fred/Stevens for the Isle of Wight leg of the tour! However, once the rest of the cast and creative team saw how committed and talented Fred was, he was asked to accompany them for the whole tour.

Fred is currently in his final year of A Levels and is then hoping to gain a place at Drama School to study Acting.
We have no doubt that Fred will achieve this dream. He has been a dedicated member of Isle of Wight Theatretrain for 10 years, and has worked extremely hard over the years to develop his many skills.
Fred is a talented in many areas of the Performing Arts. He has been singing with our vocal coach, Hannah, since he was 7 years old, and regularly competes in Rap, Musical Theatre and Pop. He is also an extremely competent dancer.

Fred is currently home for a week before going back on tour. If you didn’t manage to see him on the Island, you can catch Fred at the final location of the tour, in Woking.
