All of our sessions are led by industry professionals in an inclusive, group-based environment where children are encouraged to be themselves, build confidence and discover their creativity.

What's on offer in Norwich and Wymondham?
Theatretrain Norwich offers weekly performance training across three locations:
Saturdays | Theatretrain Norwich at Hellesdon High School | 10am–1pm
Our Saturday sessions bring together acting, singing and dancing in a full Theatretrain experience. Children develop performance skills, confidence and creativity while working as part of a team and preparing for performances.
Saturdays | Theatretrain MINIS (ages 4–5) at Hellesdon High School | 11.15am–12.45pm Designed especially for our youngest performers, MINIS introduces children to singing, dancing and acting through imaginative games, creative activities and performance skills, helping them build confidence, make friends and enjoy their first steps into performing.
Theatretrain Express Cringleford | Wednesdays
Theatretrain Express Wymondham | Thursdays
Our Theatretrain Express classes offer the same high-quality singing, dancing and acting experience in a shorter after-school format. Perfect for children aged 5–11, these sessions provide a fun, focused environment where children can build confidence, develop skills and enjoy performing.
Whether joining us on a Saturday or at one of our Express locations, every child becomes part of the Theatretrain Norwich community — with the same encouragement, creativity and support at every session.

These sessions bring students together in their age groups to learn ensemble songs, work on their acting skills and dance their socks off!
They become rehearsals for a performance as the year progresses, and all students have the chance to perform each and every year.
Theatretrain Express: Cringleford

- Wednesdays 4.30pm - 6pm

- Students are taught as one group
Our weekly after-school sessions bring together singing, dance and acting in a fun, creative environment where children can develop confidence, performance skills and friendships.
Junior Ensemble: Theatretrain Minis

Our youngest performers enjoy a fun introduction to singing, dance and acting in a supportive environment designed especially for children taking their first steps into performing arts.
Every dream starts somewhere… In these 90-minute sessions our young performers cover all three disciplines and learn the basic skills of imagination and stagecraft.
Most importantly, we make sure everyone feels comfortable, creating a vibrant atmosphere to learn in!

Dance
Our professional choreographers instruct young people in a huge range of dance styles and techniques, letting them collaborate as a group and find the power of movement.
Act
We empower your child to express themselves without judgement, encouraging them to take on characters, tell creative stories and follow their passion for acting.
Sing
We encourage all of our students to build their confidence through song, embracing technical and real-world techniques used by singing professionals.

We organise large-scale performances, and each year our students have the chance to take part in exciting shows and events, making memories and developing skills that will last a lifetime. Our big performances have taken place in stunning venues like the Royal Albert Hall and West End theatres.

What Sessions Do You Offer At Theatretrain Norwich?
Theatretrain Norwich offers performing arts classes for children and teenagers, combining acting, singing and dancein every session.
Led by experienced industry professionals, our classes help young people build confidence, creativity and performance skills in a fun, supportive environment. Whether your child is new to performing arts or already loves the stage, they’ll enjoy inspiring weekly classes and exciting performance opportunities.
What is the age range for Theatretrain?
At our main company, sessions are offered to 6-18 year-olds, divided into three age groups.
We also offer a Junior Company known as our TT Minis sessions. This is suitable for 4-5-year-olds
Do you have to audition to join Theatretrain?
No, we don’t require you to audition for your place at Theatretrain. We don’t judge the people who want to join us, and we’re confident our students will quickly get in the swing of the Theatretrain Way.
What Days And Times Are Sessions?
Our main sessions are on Saturdays in term time from 10am-1pm for ages 6+
We also offer a Junior Ensemble known as our TT Minis group. This takes place on Saturdays in term time from 11.15am -12.45pm.
We have our two evening classes which run from 1630 – 1800 on Wednesdays (Cringleford) and Thursdays (Wymondham).
How much do Theatretrain sessions cost?
Our Main Company session costs £83 a month.
Junior Ensemble (TT Minis): £50 a month.
Theatretrain Express Evening classes (Wednesdays and Thursdays) are £50 a month.
50% sibling discount available for Saturday main Company and TT Express classes.
