Get to know us
Our theatre classes take place at Chesterton Community Collage, Chesterton, where our students come together every Saturday to connect, learn and create in a safe and inspiring environment. Through the performing arts, we give children and young adults the tools they need, not just to reach their potential on stage, but also to thrive at school and lay the foundations for their future.

Meet George Hopkins & Bianca Stanford, your Centre Directors
George & Bianca took over Theatretrain Cambridge North and South in the Autumn of 2020. They met at University, where they developed their pre-existing passion for Theatre and the Performing Arts. They have worked both on and off stage in Theatre in Education, short films and various Small Scale Theatre productions. They are passionate about helping children to express their love for the arts and improving their life skills.
Bianca was a student at Theatretrain from the age of 8 and has been a part of the teaching team for just over 5 years. She remained as a Teaching Assistant while she completed her Performing Arts Undergrad degree at Bedford, as well as her Masters Degree. During the week Bianca works at a Primary School and her main passion is supporting children’s development.
Katie joined the team in 2019. She has piano, clarinet and singing (grade 8) and has a level 4 teaching diploma in the Performing Arts. Katie runs her own business providing private tuition in singing and piano, as well as teaching lunchtime performance choirs in many local schools. Katie is a bright and bubbly person who loves teaching.
Sara has been teaching at Tt Cambridge since September 2018. Sara trained at Laine Theatre Arts, graduating in 2009, and has since had many years experience performing as both a singer and dancer on cruise ships, where she has taken principal roles. She also has the benefit of teaching performance to children for a number of years in between her professional engagements.
Charlotte was also a student at Theatretrain from the age of about 8 years. She has since graduated, obtaining a BA in Early Childhood Education, to add to her performing skills, as well as her PGCE at Homerton College, and now works at Fawcett Primary School. Charlotte loves working with our Minis, developing their performing arts skills in preparation for main school and watching them grow.
Harriet graduated from Performing Arts school with a diploma in dance, and went on to feature in many music videos dancing along side known and upcoming artists. She currently works for Colours of Dance and was lucky enough to join Theatretrain as maternity cover through lockdown, and is now assisting with the Minis.
