About Theatretrain Royston
Building confidence & training the next generation of performers
Hi, I'm Jess!
I’m the Company Director here at Theatretrain Royston, where my job is to ensure your children are enjoying their professional theatre training in a fun and creative way. I
I started dancing as a shy three year old, and went on to train at Urdang (London) under a full scholarship graduating with a Professional Diploma in Dance (MT).
I was lucky enough to travel around the UK and the world whilst working as both a performer and choreographer for many years. I have also taught at a many part-time and professional schools and colleges.
I started at Theatretrain with my Welwyn-Hatfield branch in 2013, opening my Royston branch, at the dance studios I trained at as a child, in 2017.
It is a joy to work with the children every week, and to see them grow both as performers and as individuals.

Here, in an environment nurturing confidence and empathy, our students can expand to be more than they ever thought they could be. Our aim isn’t just to create better performers, but to help your children reach their full potential.
We create the welcoming environment where aspiring performers thrive.
