National Residential Summer Academy 2026

Day Pupils – Theatretrain National Residential Summer Academy 2026

Boarding places are now fully booked — but day pupil places are still available.

Our Day Pupil option is perfect for those who want the full National Residential Summer Academy experience, without staying overnight.

Each day, pupils join us at the stunning Royal Hospital School for a packed schedule of acting, singing and dance workshops, led by our experienced Theatretrain team and industry professionals. They’ll work in age groups (6–9, 9–12, 13–18), building skills, confidence and friendships throughout the week.

Daily Schedule

  • Drop-off: 8:45am
  • Pick-up: 6:15pm

Days are carefully structured to keep pupils engaged, inspired and having fun — with a mix of creative sessions, group work, and exciting activities.

What’s Included

  • Professional training in acting, singing and dance
  • West End–style masterclass experience
  • Opportunities to try additional skills (e.g. stage combat, creative workshops)
  • Team games and outdoor activities
  • A hot cooked lunch each day (starter, main and dessert)
  • Supervised break times and lunch period
  • Invitation to the evening Fancy Dress Party & Awards Night
  • Participation in the final performance in the on-site theatre (Saturday at 1:00pm)
