About Theatretrain Maldon
Performing Arts School Maldon – Where Confidence Grows
Hi, I'm Mark!
Hi, I’m Mark, Company Director of Theatretrain Maldon. I’ve been leading the school since 2008, helping children and young people build confidence, creativity and performance skills through acting, singing and dance.
After studying for an HND Diploma in Theatre, I went on to achieve my Associate Diploma in Performing, Speech and Drama. Over the years, Theatretrain Maldon has become a welcoming performing arts school for families across Maldon and the surrounding area, with a strong focus on developing both performance ability and confidence for life.

The Theatretrain Way puts theatre at the heart of performing arts training. Alongside practical skills in acting, singing and dance, young people are encouraged to develop creativity, teamwork, confidence and empathy in a safe and supportive environment.
Our aim is not simply to create better performers, but to help every child grow in confidence, express themselves and discover what they are capable of achieving.

The Theatretrain Story
Theatretrain has been helping young people develop their confidence and performance skills through acting, singing and dance since 1992. At Theatretrain Maldon, we bring that experience to our local community through weekly performing arts classes, productions and performance opportunities.
We believe performing arts should be welcoming and accessible, giving every young person the opportunity to develop their creativity, make friends and experience the excitement of performing as part of a company.
