Do I need to attend drama classes every week?

The initial answer to this question is yes, you do need to attend every week. But I think the bigger question is why do you need to attend every week. So here are a few of the main reasons weekly attendance is so important.

We are learning

At Theatretrain we are teaching skills, not just singing dance and acting skills but key life skills like resilience, team work and self belief. These skills need to be practiced regularly so they can grow, just like practicing reading at school.

We are making friends

Being at Theatretrain regularly allows are students to connect with other likeminded people and make new friends. Making friends happens over a series of shared experiences, not just a one off experience.

We work together

All our performances we work as a team, that team is like a machine with lots of many parts. If you are missing a part, the machine doesn’t work.

Obviously there may be a session you are unable to attend every now and then (let’s face it, these days our kid’s social lives are more hectic than our own!) that’s ok.

But if you miss more sessions than you attend you will not gain the full benefit of our classes.
