About Theatretrain Brentwood
Building Confidence & Training The Next Generation Of Performers…

Hi, we're Darren & Rachael...
and we couldn’t be happier to be the Company Directors here at at Theatretrain Brentwood.
Theatre has always been a huge part of our lives. Darren has worked in the West End as a sound engineer and has produced and directed more than 150 concerts – many alongside Rachael. Together, we’ve had the privilege of working in some of London’s most iconic venues, including The London Palladium, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, His Majesty’s Theatre, and even the O2
Rachael is originally from Liverpool and trained at LIPA before moving to Essex in 2009. In 2024, one of our professional productions led to an exciting opportunity: producing an annual Easter Variety Spectacular at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton on the Wirral, which continues to showcase familiar faces from stage and screen!
We live and breathe theatre, and there’s nothing we love more then working with the young performers at Theatretrain Brentwood, helping them grow in confidence and creativity every week.

The Theatretrain Story
Theatretrain was founded on the belief that the performing arts should be accessible to everyone, no matter their age, skill or ability. Our large-scale productions are unique to Theatretrain and invite our students to enjoy the learning experience and be a part of something bigger than themselves.
