Hi, I'm Kate!
Hi, I’m Kate, Company Director of Theatretrain Bedford, a leading performing arts school in Bedford. My role is to ensure every child enjoys high-quality, professional training in drama, dance and singing in a fun, creative and supportive environment.
I trained at the London College of Dance (BA Hons) and continued my studies at the Roehampton Institute, gaining a Diploma in Ballet Studies. My career has included lecturing at respected institutions such as London Studio Centre, alongside running successful dance schools across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
I founded Theatretrain Bedford in 2000, and for over 26 years we have been proud to deliver exceptional children’s performing arts classes in Bedford. As one of the longest-established centres in the Theatretrain network, we have nurtured hundreds of students, helping them grow in confidence, creativity and performance skills.
Watching our students flourish is the most rewarding part of what we do. My team and I are passionate about supporting every child, creating an environment where they feel encouraged, inspired and able to reach their full potential. Olivia Williamson
Musical Director
Olivia is a highly experienced performer and teacher at Theatretrain Bedford, bringing a strong blend of industry knowledge and educational passion to our performing arts classes in Bedford. She graduated from the London School of Musical Theatre in 2019, one of the UK’s leading training institutions for musical theatre performers.
Since graduating, Olivia has built an impressive and varied performance career, appearing in productions such as Friendsical the Musical (UK tour), Romeo and Duet (ITV), and national pantomimes including Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast. She has also worked on commercial projects such as the Doja Cat x JBL advert, alongside performing in live bands and at events across the UK. These diverse professional experiences have given her a well-rounded understanding of the performing arts industry, from stage and screen to live music performance.
Alongside her performing career, Olivia has spent over eight years teaching, working with students across the country. Her real-world experience allows her to bring authenticity, creativity and current industry insight into every class, helping students understand not just how to perform, but how to connect, express and grow through the arts.
Olivia is deeply passionate about the positive impact of performing arts on young people, particularly in building confidence, resilience, communication skills and self-expression. Her warm, encouraging approach creates an environment where students feel supported to take risks, develop their abilities and enjoy the process of learning.
Having been part of the Theatretrain Bedford creative team for nearly four years, Olivia is dedicated to bringing out the very best in every student, inspiring them to develop their skills while fostering a genuine love for drama, dance and singing in Bedford.

Molly Sims
Musical Director
Molly joins Theatretrain Bedford, a leading performing arts school in Bedford, as a director, writer and performer with a rich and varied creative background. They trained in Drama and Applied Theatre at London South Bank University, alongside further studies in Theatre at GSA, and continue to develop their craft through acting, directing and creating new work.
Molly began their career as an actor, performing at the Brighton Fringe and receiving the Outstanding Theatre award with NGYT. Alongside performing, they developed a strong passion for teaching, working as an Outreach Drama Teacher across schools and communities in Luton and Dunstable.
They later became Expressive Arts Lead at Richmond Hill SEN School, where they spent four years delivering inclusive lessons in drama, dance, music and art. This experience shaped Molly’s approach to teaching, with a strong focus on accessibility, creativity and empowering young people through the performing arts.
Since then, Molly has continued to co-direct, perform and work on new writing festivals, bringing a wealth of real-world industry experience into the classroom. Their warm, bubbly and approachable nature helps students feel instantly at ease, creating a relaxed and supportive environment where children can build confidence, creativity and performance skills.
At Theatretrain Bedford, Molly is passionate about inspiring the next generation through high-quality drama, dance and musical theatre training in Bedford, encouraging every student to express themselves and reach their full potential.
Chloe Windsor
Choreographer
Chloë brings a wealth of experience and passion to Theatretrain Bedford, a leading performing arts school in Bedford, having danced since the age of two. She trained competitively throughout her childhood, spent three years with the prestigious English Youth Ballet, and performed alongside Strictly Come Dancing’s Pasha Kovalev on his tour Let’s Dance The Night Away.
Chloë went on to study Performing Arts at The PAD before earning her BA (Hons) from Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts (2024)—one of the UK’s most respected and highly sought-after performing arts colleges, known for its exceptional industry-level training.
Now teaching at Theatretrain Bedford, Chloë is passionate about sharing her love of dance with the next generation. She creates a positive, supportive environment where students feel confident, safe and inspired, while benefiting from high-quality, professional dance and musical theatre training in Bedford. Chloë is excited to continue growing her teaching career as part of our dedicated and creative team

Sophie Hill
Junior Ensemble Director
Sophie has been part of the Theatretrain Bedford teaching team for over 9 years, bringing a wealth of experience and a nurturing approach to our early years performing arts classes in Bedford. She began dancing at the age of four, training extensively in ballet, tap, modern and contemporary dance through to adulthood, before going on to study for a BA (Hons) in Dance Studies at the University of Roehampton.
Alongside her performance training, Sophie developed a strong passion for working with young children, leading her to complete a PGCE and qualify as a primary school teacher. This specialist background in primary education is at the heart of her teaching, allowing her to expertly support children’s development through drama, dance and creative movement in a way that is both engaging and age-appropriate.
Sophie has a natural ability to connect with younger students and is especially passionate about teaching our early years performers, understanding just how important these formative years are. Her warm, patient and encouraging approach helps children build confidence, coordination, communication skills and creativity, while feeling safe, supported and inspired.

Holly Walker
Junior Ensemble Assistant
Holly joins Theatretrain Bedford, a well-established performing arts school in Bedford, with a wealth of performance experience and a strong background in teaching. She has gained valuable experience in her hometown through a variety of teaching roles, working with children of all ages and abilities.
A recent graduate of Stella Mann College, Holly continues to develop her professional career as she auditions within the industry, bringing fresh energy, current training and industry insight into our drama, dance and musical theatre classes in Bedford.
Holly has a natural ability to connect with young people and is particularly adept at working with our youngest pupils, creating a nurturing, fun and supportive environment where children feel confident to express themselves. Her warm and encouraging approach helps build confidence, coordination and creativity, ensuring every child feels included and inspired.
As part of the Theatretrain Bedford team, Holly is passionate about delivering high-quality performing arts training for children in Bedford, helping every student grow in confidence while developing a lifelong love of the arts.

Chloe Smyth
Deputy Teacher (All Genres)
Chloë joins Theatretrain Bedford, a leading performing arts school in Bedford, with a wealth of performance and teaching experience. She has built a strong foundation through her work in both dance and gymnastics coaching, bringing energy, discipline and creativity to every class she leads.
Alongside her teaching, Chloë is continuing her professional training at Stella Mann College, further developing her skills in the performing arts. This ongoing training ensures she brings fresh, up-to-date techniques and industry knowledge into our dance and musical theatre classes in Bedford.
Chloë is passionate about inspiring young people and creating a positive, supportive environment where every student can grow in confidence, coordination and performance skills. Her enthusiasm and commitment make her a valued member of the team, helping students enjoy high-quality dance training for children in Bedford while having fun and building lifelong skills.

Sheelagh Donnelly
Centre Manager
Having been a proud Theatretrain Bedford parent for over 10 years, Sheelagh now joins the team as our Centre Manager. With a genuine love of theatre and first-hand experience of watching her own children grow in confidence through our performing arts classes in Bedford, she brings both passion and insight to the role.
Her deep understanding of the school’s ethos, alongside her hands-on experience, makes her an integral part of the Theatretrain Bedford community. Sheelagh is dedicated to supporting both students and families, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
