We love to see ex-pupils returning to visit, but this time she’s joining the team! We can’t wait to welcome Josie to the TTChester team as she joins us as Minis and Tinies Teaching Assistant in September.
Josie’s love of theatre began when she joined Theatretrain Chester at the age of 6. She enjoyed ten years of amazing experiences, performing in shows at the Royal Albert Hall, the 02 Arena and in the Bill Kenwright performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. At 16, Josie studied performing arts Liverpool where she had the opportunity to play Ariel in their Disney Showcase and Mrs Wormwood in their production of Matilda the Musical and received a distinction at BTEC. Josie then moved to London to study a BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre at LMA. The course included shows such as Legally Blonde, Les Miserable and We Will Rock You, performed in theatres including the Hackney Empire and The Royal Stratford East Theatre. Josie also represented LMA, dancing at the world’s biggest dance event, Move IT. In 2023 Josie received an Upper Second Class Degree in Musical Theatre.
