It should read the standard of teaching we offer at Theatretrain is exceptional. Students learn from professionals who are passionate about what they do. They follow a carefully thought out curriculum that enables performers to reach their full potential.
What to expect from a Theatretrain class
All of our theatre sessions in Waltham Forest include dance, singing and drama classes for children and young adults, which not only gives them good grounding for a career in performing arts but also boosts their confidence in the real world.

Dance
It’s more than steps! We teach the technique of movement in a variety of styles. Dancers learn to engage their thinking and feeling.

Act
It’s more than making up scenes. Our performers learn to create characters, develop situations and use atmosphere and focus to make it happen NOW.

Sing
It’s more than singing a song together. Our performers learn to bring feelings to give to their audience and how to tell the story.
The performer learns how to be offstage, how to be onstage. How they enter, how they exit. There is a lot to learn and this is where the fun begins – in the space we make for theatre.
Whether they sing, dance or act our performers learn to OWN their material, OWN their space and express themselves with confidence. It’s all down to the power of the group and the teacher.
