SUMMERSCHOOL 2026 WILL RUN FROM 3rd – 7th AUGUST
The Summerschool is at Ysgol Clawdd Offa in Prestatyn. The week-long workshop runs from 9.30am – 3.30pm from Monday to Friday and is suitable for children from age five up to eighteen.

Here’s all you need to know about our Summerschool for 2026
We’ll be at Ysgol Clawdd Offa, 9.30 – 3.30 from Monday 3rd August until Friday 7th August. Each day will follow the theme of a different musical. Join us for individual days or book for the whole week. We’ll create a short presentation to share with family and friends on the Friday afternoon at 3pm
MONDAY 3rd August – K-POP DEMON HUNTERS
Time to revisit the K-POP phenomenon
TUESDAY 4th August – SHREK
With so many great tunes to choose form we’ll be looking at everyone’s favourite Green Ogre
WEDNESDAY 5th August – OLIVER
You’ve Got To Pick A Pocket Or Two, Mom Pat Pat, Food, Glorious Food, Be Back Soon – let’s see how many of these iconic songs you know
THURSDAY 6th August – MOULIN ROUGE
Time to bring things a little more unto date with some fantastic high energy music from Moulin Rouge
FRIDAY 7th AUGUST – THE LION KING
A great way to finish off the week with a Disney classic

Where can I park?
There is ample parking at the school.
What should my child wear?
Please send your child wearing suitable clothing to dance in (i.e. Leggings, jogging bottoms, jazz pants, and suitable footwear; trainers, ballet or jazz shoes). Not sandals or flip-flops or skirts or jeans.
Will there be breaks?
We have a supervised 15 minute break in the morning, half an hour for lunch and then another 15 minutes in the afternoon. Please send a suitable lunch and snacks for your child each day.
Will there be a show at the end of the week?
Yes! Family and friends are invited to join us for a short presentation in the school hall at 3pm on Friday
Are the Theatretrain staff qualified?
Of course! Our teachers are either professional actors or teachers (and in some cases both!). We all hold DBS certificates and are licensed with our local authorities to chaperone children in theatrical performances.
Can I pay online?
