All of our sessions at Theatretrain Linton are led by professionals in an inclusive, group-based environment. We want your child to have FUN while they learn from some of the best in the industry, immersed in an impressive and enjoyable performance programme.

Theatretrain Linton Sessions

Our weekly sessions take place at Anglian Leisure Linton, covering the 3 main principles of performance – acting, singing and dancing.

Theatretrain Express

Our musical theatre class will explore all the different aspects of performance whilst exploring a whole range of different musicals. Open to children aged 6-12 years, this class is for anyone who loves to act, dance and sing.

Junior Ensemble: Minis

Every dream starts somewhere… In these 90-minute sessions our young performers cover all three disciplines and learn the basic skills of imagination and stagecraft. Most importantly, we make sure everyone feels comfortable, creating a vibrant atmosphere to learn in!

K-POP Demon Hunters is coming to Theatretrain Linton, on Friday 7th November! Join us at our K-POP Demon Hunters Workshop this November – an extravaganza of singing, dancing & acting for ages 6–14. Expect fun, games, dancing, and drama, learn how to become a demon hunting superstar, inspired by the popular animated film! What could be better than learning to DANCE, ACT & SING through story, characters & movie musical.

Theatretrain Linton MINIS are running a super, fun-filled BLUEY themed workshop on Friday 7th November. Join us this November for a Bluey-themed performing arts workshop; perfect for little performers aged 4–6. Expect fun, games, dancing, and drama, all inspired by everyone’s favourite blue heeler.

Our professional choreographers instruct young people in a huge range of dance styles and techniques, letting them collaborate as a group and find the power of movement.

We organise large-scale performances, and each year our students have the chance to take part in exciting shows and events, making memories and developing skills that will last a lifetime. Our big performances have taken place in stunning venues like the Royal Albert Hall and West End theatres.

Answering your Theatretrain Linton FAQs

Our sessions cover acting, dancing and singing. All our performers learn to use techniques that cover space, storytelling, sound and movement and what we call attitude – the feelings behind their performance. 

At our Musical Theatre sessions are offered to 6-12 year-olds.

We also offer Junior Ensemble, with TT Minis sessions for 4-5-year-olds 

No, we don’t require you to audition for your place at Theatretrain. We don’t judge the people who want to join us, and we’re confident our students will quickly get in the swing of the Theatretrain Way.

Our Theatretrain express sessions are on Fridays in term time from 5:30 – 7pm.

We also offer Junior Ensemble: TT Minis sessions, which take place on Fridays in term time from 4  – 5:30pm

Our Theatretrain Express session costs £13 for 90 mins

Junior Ensemble: £13 for a 90-minute session.
