Hi, I'm Kate!
Hi, I’m Kate! I’m the Company Director here at Theatretrain Kings Lynn, where my job is to ensure your children are enjoying their professional theatre training in a fun and creative way.
My performing background is in Dance and I am professionally trained in Musical Theatre, I hold Diplomas in Ballet and Modern Jazz Dance with the BTDA and I am an associate member of NATD and a Teacher member of IPATH. I have danced professionally all around the UK and traveled abroad for professional dance contracts, I’m passionate about all things performing arts and providing students with first class training and opportunities. I have been a community practitioner in the performing arts for more than 10 years and Love my job!
My goal is to inspire creativity and confidence in our students at Theatretrain Kings Lynn!

Natasha Scott
Company Manager
Natasha is who you will find manning our front desk and helping our team and students on a Saturday morning she ensures I have been involved with chaperoning with Theatretrain for a couple of years and for dance wize for 10 years. I have always been involved in theatre groups since leaving school enabling children to find their love of the arts. During the week, I am a primary school teacher, so love seeing children strive!

Will Mugford
Musical Director
Will has been involved in performing arts for many years, performing in multiple productions across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Notably, he was part of the Norfolk & Norwich Operatic Society production of Les Miserables in 2025, one of only 11 companies in the UK to have been granted the rights, and the subsequent Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall. He has previously run a youth theatre group in his hometown of Colchester, directing and producing multiple award-winning productions across a multiple-year spell. He also has professional singing experience as part of a professional barbershop quartet group, and is passionate about bringing music, harmony and performance to the next generation of young people.

Emily Mason
Choreographer
Emily is a Master of Arts, graduating with a distinction in Performance and Choreography. She also graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2018, receiving a First Class BA Honours Degree in dance. During her training she has been an artist in ‘The Ensemble’, touring internationally and nationally. In 2018, She was also a member of Lincoln Dance Collective, a performance company. She has worked with professional choreographers such as Adrienne Clancy, Amy Lovelock, and Tamara Ashley. Her professional training is in contemporary dance/release technique as well as interdisciplinary dance; however, she has been training in many styles of dance since an early age, including, tap, ballet, jazz, musical theatre and commercial. She is passionate about educating the next generation of dancers.

Jessie Rawlings
Company Assistant
Jessie has always loved theatre and dancing from a young age. Jessie is also a teaching assistant for Dance Wize. She enjoys assisting all of the children grow in ability and seeing their big smiles as they walk into class. She is also a qualified Media Make up artist so creativity is in her blood.

Amira O-Neill
Acting Director
Amira is incredibly excited to be joining the team at TheatreTrain! She has a professional background in Musical Theatre and have extensive experience in both performing and teaching, giving me the skillset to train others to become versatile and creative performers. Holding a degree in Musical Theatre and natural nurturing manor she will inspire skill and confidence in our students.

Sky Carver
Junior Ensemble Director
We are delighted to welcome Sky back to the team in her new role.
Sky has been a performer since primary school. She has acted in principal roles in plays, musicals and Opera. She is a classically trained coloratura Soprano. As well as performing, she is a director and has directed both plays and Operas. She has completed her Master’s degree in Theatre Directing and playwriting and is currently directing and performing in an Opera for children which she has written. She has also written a children’s musical for use in a school setting. Sky has worked with children and young people in various roles over the last thirty years and loves how the Theatretrain way enables anyone to experience performance in varying theatrical environments.

Ellen Petterson
Junior Ensemble Assistant
Ellen is thrilled to be back at Theatretrain after being a student herself 15 years ago. She has been singing, dancing and acting from a young age and has a degree in Musical Theatre from The University of Essex.
She is currently getting back into performing after taking a break to have her three little girls.
She feels very privileged to be able to work with the youngest members and to help them build their skills and confidence in the arts and beyond.
The Theatretrain Story
Theatretrain was founded on the belief that the performing arts should be accessible to everyone, no matter their age, skill or ability. Our large-scale productions are unique to Theatretrain and invite our students to enjoy the learning experience and be a part of something bigger than themselves.
