Summerschool 2026
Here’s all you need to know about our Summerschool for 2026
We’ll be at Ysgol Bryn Coch, 9.30 – 3.30 from Monday 27th July until Friday 31st. Each day will follow the theme of a different musical. Join us for individual days or book for the whole week. We’ll create a short presentation to share with family and friends on the Friday afternoon at 3pm
MONDAY 27th JULY – Choose either K_POP DEMON HUNTERS or BEETLEJUICE
Younger children will have great fun revisiting the K-Pop phenomenon while older children can explore the latest musical to arrive in the West End – Beetlejuice
TUESDAY 28th JULY – SHREK
Fun for all ages as we recreate at least one of the great songs and dances from Shrek the musical
WEDNESDAY 29th JULY – OLIVER
Food, Glorious Food – You Gotta Pick A Pocket Or Two – As Long As He Needs Me – Be Back Soon…. There are so many great songs to choose from for our Oliver day
THURSDAY 30th JULY – MOULIN ROUGE
Another new title for our Summerschool selection as we bring the music selection up to date with this high energy musical
FRIDAY 31st JULY – THE LION
A great Disney musical to end our week as we also bring together all of the elements from the week to create our show
Theatretrain Mold Summer School FAQs
Where can I park?
There is ample short-stay parking on the roads adjacent to the school.
What should my child wear?
Please send your child wearing suitable clothing to dance in (i.e. Leggings, jogging bottoms, jazz pants, and suitable footwear; trainers, ballet or jazz shoes). Not sandals or flip-flops or skirts or jeans.
Will there be breaks?
We have a supervised 15 minute break in the morning, half an hour for lunch and then another 15 minutes in the afternoon. Please send a suitable lunch and snacks for your child each day.
Will there be a show at the end of the week?
Yes! Family and friends are invited to join us for a short presentation in the school hall at 3pm on Friday
Are the Theatretrain staff qualified?
Of course! Our teachers are either professional actors or teachers (and in some cases both!). We all hold DBS certificates and are licensed with our local authorities to chaperone children in theatrical performances.
