About Theatretrain Leicester

Building Confidence & Training The Next Generation Of Performers…

ST

Hi, I'm Simon!

Hi, I’m Simon! I’m the Company Director here at Theatretrain Leicester, where my job is to ensure your children are enjoying their professional theatre training in a fun and creative way.

I have been involved with Theatretrain since 1999. Since graduating from De Montfort University with a BA (Hons) in Theatre, I have worked with young people in a variety of settings, led drama workshops in both primary and secondary schools, and taught at Leicester College before training as a Primary School Teacher. I now teaches Year 6 at a local primary school. I am very passionate about education, especially the education, training and experience that Theatretrain provides for young people.

Learn Genuine Theatre Principles While You Make Friends At Theatretrain Leicester

The Theatretrain Way puts theatre back into the performing arts. Along with technical performance skills in acting, singing and dancing, young people get the chance to release their creativity in a safe and friendly place. Here, in an environment nurturing confidence and empathy, our students can expand to be more than they ever thought they could be. Our aim isn’t just to create better performers, but to help your children reach their full potential.
