About Theatretrain Leicester
Building Confidence & Training The Next Generation Of Performers…
Hi, I'm Simon!
Hi, I’m Simon! I’m Theatretrain Leicester’s Company Director. My job is to ensure your children are enjoying their professional theatre training in a fun and creative way, supporting both our teaching team and our young performers.
Having been involved with Theatretrain since 1999, I have been lucky enough to perform, teach and organise productions locally and nationally. Since graduating from De Montfort University with a BA (Hons) in Theatre, I have worked with young people in a variety of settings. As well as leading Theatretrain Leicester, I work as an Assistant Headteacher at a Leicester City primary school.
I’m very passionate about education, especially the education, training and experience that Theatretrain provides for young people.

The Theatretrain Story
Theatretrain was founded on the belief that the performing arts should be accessible to everyone, no matter their age, skill or ability. Our large-scale productions are unique to Theatretrain and invite our students to enjoy the learning experience and be a part of something bigger than themselves.
