Our flexible payment plans
We want to make professional theatre training accessible to everyone, which is why we offer a monthly subscription option for both of our session types. Direct Debit means you can spread the total cost without fuss – and without needing to track term dates or one-off invoices.
What’s included?
In every session, your children will learn the fundamentals of performing arts in an active, alive atmosphere. We cover the most important aspects of theatre training – dance, acting and singing. Our highly qualified and experienced creative team guide our students through a programme designed by credited theatre expert, playwright and author, Kevin Dowsett.
Unlike traditional performing arts schools, we don’t focus on preparing students for exams and competitions, although you will have the opportunity to participate in these if you wish. We teach young people how to adopt the mindset of a theatre performer and to develop as an ensemble as well as be part of an ensemble.
Are there any additional costs?
Registration Fee
When you register your child at Theatretrain there is a one-off registration fee of £25, and this includes a Theatretrain t-shirt which is our usual uniform. Students may wear their own black bottoms and dance shoes to complete the recommended Theatretrain uniform.

Every year we put on shows locally in professional theatres or in larger venues in either London’s West End or the Royal Albert Hall. We organise these events to inspire and motivate our students. As you’d expect, these large shows have an additional cost.

- Costumes – between £25-£30
- Coach fare for London shows -£30-£35

- Photo and video fees for London shows – £16
