Building Confidence & Training The Next Generation Of Performers…

2022 04 02 16.06.18

Hi, I'm Sara!

Hi, I’m Sara! I’m the Company Director here at Theatretrain Solihull, where my job is to ensure your children are enjoying their professional theatre training in a fun and creative way.

As a child I attended stage school in London training in dance & acting.  I continued my passion for the performing arts into college and university where I graduated from Goldsmiths University with a BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre Arts.   I gained my equity card working as an actress in London.  In 2007 I wanted to pass on my passion for the performing arts to the younger generation so I opened Theatretrain Solihull.  In 2010 I trained as a giggle doctor with the Theodora Childrens Charity and began working as Dr Princezz bringing smiles to children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK.   In 2013 I made it into the Guinness Book of Records as one of 150 Clown Doctors on a train in Bern, Switzerland.  I have been teaching acting for over 20 years
My theatre roles are too numerous to detail but have included Sybil in Daisy Pulls it Off, The Mother in Blood Wedding, Jodie in Can’t Stand up for Falling Down, Lady Jacqueline in Me and My girl and Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion.  TV work includes Green Wing, Holby City, WPC56, Doctors, Father Brown and several adverts for Gala Bingo. Film work includes Closer, You, Me and Her, Big Bad Wolves and The Bridge.  Directing work includes The Darling Buds of May, After September, Sleeping Beauty Goes Back to the Future and too many shows to mention for Theatretrain.

Learn Genuine Theatre Principles While You Make Friends At Theatretrain Solihull

The Theatretrain Way puts theatre back into the performing arts. Along with technical performance skills in acting, singing and dancing, young people get the chance to release their creativity in a safe and friendly place. Here, in an environment nurturing confidence and empathy, our students can expand to be more than they ever thought they could be. Our aim isn’t just to create better performers, but to help your children reach their full potential.
