Get to know us
Our theatre classes take place at Hagley Roman Catholic School, Hagley, where our students come together every Saturday to connect, learn and create in a safe and inspiring environment. Through performing arts, we give children and young adults the tools they need, not just to reach their potential on stage, but also to thrive at school and lay the foundations for their future.

Laura Chesworth, your Centre Director
Laura attended the opening of Hagley Theatretrain as a student back in 2003. From the age of 12-18 she caught the Theatretrain bug and found that her confidence and love for the Performing Arts grew during her 6 years at the school. She then went on to complete a Foundation Degree in Creative Music Production and went on to graduate from the University of Gloucestershire with a BA HONS in Music. She returned to Hagley as an assistant and later progressed from singing teacher to centre director. Now as a qualified primary school teacher, she loves to help children develop in confidence and provide many opportunities at Hagley Theatretrain.
