If you’ve ever wondered what your child really gets up to at Theatretrain each Saturday, this one’s for you.
A typical Theatretrain term is a carefully designed mix of structure, creativity and progression. Our classes run every Saturday during term time and are divided into three key areas: dance, drama, and singing. These sessions aren’t just about putting on a show — they’re about developing well-rounded performers.
Each week, students rotate through 1 hour sessions in each discipline, guided by professional tutors who bring industry expertise and boundless enthusiasm. These aren’t “just” classes — they’re confidence-building workouts in expression, communication, and self-belief.
In the early weeks of term, we focus on building skills and ensemble energy. As we approach the midpoint, we start layering in project work — such as rehearsals for upcoming performances or film competition entries. By the end of term, you’ll see all the pieces come together in a way that’s genuinely exciting to watch (and be part of).
Every Theatretrain term ends with either a filmed project, public showcase, or progress sharing. No matter the format, your child will walk away with a sense of achievement and pride.
